Rice Husk EcoCutlery

Made from the same material as our Rice Husk EcoMug, this cutlery is manufactured from a 50/50 blend of natural rice husk fibre and food grade polypropylene which is lead, cadmium and BPA free. Rice husk is a waste product with little value and the agricultural industry often disposes of it by burning which creates air pollution.

Using this ‘waste’ product to create sustainable items not only reduces biomass waste from food production, but also reduces reliance on disposable cutlery when out and about. The knife, fork and spoon cutlery pieces come in a compact container made from the same rice husk material, ensuring used cutlery doesn’t create a mess on the inside of your bag, backpack, glovebox, or other convenient storage location.
