💔 A Species on the Brink
With only ~200 dolphins remaining in the only two known Victorian populations, the Critically Endangered Burrunan dolphin faces imminent extinction without urgent action.
The small isolated populations are under increasing pressure from urban, industrial and agricultural landscapes, marine litter, underwater noise and vessel disturbance, skin disease and climate change.

These dolphins are have some of the highest known levels of toxicants and forever chemicals globally.
PFAS, mercury, and other organic pollutants, leaving their fragile populations even more vulnerable… and we are the cause.
