Al Dorsal Design Unisex Cotton Tee
‘Al’ PPB10308 is one of Port Phillip Bay’s resident male Burrunan dolphins. Named Al after Altona, where he was first sighted, Al is now known as Al everywhere, as he is regularly sighted all across Port Phillip Bay, with males and females and even with the common dolphins!
We use these marks on the dorsal fin to identify each Burrunan dolphin in our resident populations. They act as a unique ‘FINgerprint’ and allow us to track the dolphins through space and time, and identify close associations!
