Volunteering at the Marine Mammal Foundation
ABOUT OUR VOLUNTEER PROGRAM
MMF provides inclusive, unique and engaging volunteer opportunities in marine mammal research, education and community engagement. MMF volunteers have the opportunity to participate in MMF field work, regular office-based activities, and community engagement and education events. We encourage anyone who is passionate about our marine environments, marine mammals, and the Burrunan dolphin to consider volunteering with MMF.
Requirements:
Passion for conservation, the environment & community engagement;
Willingness to be involved and try new things;
One day week/fortnight/month commitment for office-based volunteering at MMF Mentone office (20min from Melbourne CBD) ;
Availability to attend MMF community engagement events including community festivals (weekends);
Working With Children’s Check (volunteer).
The Marine Mammal Foundation is based in Mentone, Melbourne, Australia, as such it is required you are able to attend the workplace. Consideration of this should be taken if applying from interstate.
